Dopo la pubblicazione della puntata dedicata ai fatti di Modena del 16 maggio 2026, sono emersi nuovi elementi investigativi che cambiano il quadro iniziale. In particolare, il G.I.P ha affermato che, allo stato attuale delle indagini, non ci sono elementi sufficienti per sostenere che il gesto sia stato compiuto come conseguenza diretta di disturbi psichici, né per ritenere l’autore incapace di intendere e di volere. Partendo da queste novità, questo episodio rappresenta un aggiornamento alla puntata precedente. Una riflessione sul difficile confine tra disagio mentale, responsabilità personale, giustizia e tutela della collettività. Perché parlare di salute mentale non significa automaticamente giustificare chi commette un gesto devastante. E se dovesse emergere che quanto accaduto è stato compiuto con piena lucidità e volontà di colpire, allora il rigore della legge dovrà essere assoluto. Tra nuovi elementi, domande ancora aperte e accertamenti in corso, resta una certezza: davanti a tragedie di questo tipo servono equilibrio, prudenza e responsabilità, evitando sia il giustificazionismo sia le semplificazioni ideologiche.
