“Modernizing Alberta’s Primary Health Care System,” Securing Canada's Airspace, and Labour Trafficking

from The Morning Brew with Andrew Schultz · host Corus Radio

Earlier this week Provincial Health Minister Jason Copping announced the highest investment ever to improve primary health care. We get reaction to the announcement from Dr. Janet Reynolds from an organization called ‘MAPS’, “Modernizing Alberta’s Primary Health Care System”. Spy balloons and ‘unidentified objects’ being shot down over Canada and the U.S. have been a hot topic over the past couple of weeks. We speak with Richard Shimooka, Senior Fellow at the Macdonald Laurier Institute for details on what we know about these ‘objects’, and more importantly, what we don’t.   Finally, there’s a good chance you’ve heard about human trafficking, but how about ‘labour trafficking’? We hear about the practice and the dangerous surrounding it, from Julia Drydyk, Executive Director of the ‘Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking’.
