Demissionair staatssecretaris Mariëlle Paul (VVD) wil de leerplicht verlagen van 5 naar 4 jaar. Symboolpolitiek, zegt de Amsterdamse (onderwijs)wethouder Marjolein Moorman: zonder extra geld of plan pak je geen leerachterstanden aan. Ook gaat het over ander nieuws: vrijdag maakte Moorman bekend alsnog de stap naar Den Haag te zetten. Twee jaar geleden werd ze gepolst voor het lijsttrekkerschap van de fusiepartij GroenLinks-PvdA, maar bleef in Amsterdam toen Frans Timmermans zijn hand opstak.
