Mohit Trivedi Part 1

What this episode covers

Mohit Trivedi is arguably the best known international student on the Gold Coast, although it's been six years since he graduated with his Masters in International Tourism and Hotel Management from Southern Cross University. While still at Southern Cross Mo applied for the Mayor's Student Ambassador Program, a Study Gold Coast initiative that was only in its second year. Mo left such a positive impression on those involved with the program that he was offered a position at Study Gold Coast after graduating from uni. Mo was not only given the opportunity to run the program for future Ambassadors, he was also instrumental in the development of the Gold Coast Student Hub and managed the facility when it opened in 2017. It was through these dual roles that Mo became one of the most recognisable faces in the city's international student community and more importantly played an integral part in shaping the support programs and experiences offered through the two initiatives. This podcast follows Mo's journey from his beginnings in India, then on to the UK as a hospitality student gaining valuable real world experience, before arriving on the Gold Coast where his life and career would transform in ways which he could never have imagined.
