Logsdon was the United States Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova from 2021 to 2024. He previously served as the Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment and prior to that was Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of Energy Resources. He was also the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin, Germany, serving as Chargé d'Affaires, from January 2017 to May 2018.
