Mom & Pop

Hey, everyone. It's Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty and our Realty Idea of the Day is mom & pop shops. So we all know the chain stores that are around us. We all have, you know, Old Navy and The Gap and whatever, Target, and all these...and they're great. These places are great, don't get me wrong. But what about the mom & pop shops in our community, the ones that have maybe been around 20 years, quietly in the same little store location, just eking out a living? Or maybe doing really well, who knows? Maybe I'm wrong. Let's go find the mom & pop shops in our area. Let's find the diners. Let's find the off brand, not quite...you know, unless you're from here, you don't know the people. You don't know who runs the shop. Let's go look for those shops in our area and go interview the owners and do a little profile piece and tell people about this great shoe store or this great toy store or whatever it is. Maybe it's a popcorn store. Maybe it's a fountain shop, soda fountain shop. G
