Moment of Meditation: Dispersed (Genesis 11:9)

from Wrestling with Theology · host Rev. Doug Minton

Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth. And from there the LORD dispersed them over the face of all the earth. Genesis 11:9   Over the last couple of months, we went through the Table of Nations that descended from Noah’s sons. Now, we see how they went to settling throughout the world. When they wouldn’t go out on their own, God sent them out. So also today, God disperses His people and His Word all around the world. You are witnessing part of that now as you listen to this radio devotion. Christian radio programs have covered the globe through radio waves and the Internet. Although God dispersed the people and confused the languages, He has also provided the technology to provide everyone in the world with His Word. Thank Him today for this great blessing. Amen.
