Now the whole earth had one language and the same words. Genesis 11:1 What would it be like if there were only one language spoken in the world? It’s mind boggling. We live in a world where there are over fifty major languages spoken. We can’t think of a world with only one language. In the beginning, there was only one language. There was no need to have multiple languages because everyone was part of one family. In Heaven, there will likely be only one language spoken again. Until then, we must work to spread God’s Word in every language so that everyone may hear the Good News of Jesus crucified and risen for their sins. Amen.
