Episode 119 – This week Liz and Heather talk about Moms! We are joined by Jennifer Tracy of MILF Podcast (that’s Moms I’d Like to Follow!!!) and we dive deep into common tropes and stereotypes of mothers in pop culture, as well as a frank discussion on representation in media, mom cliques, and doggy surnames for those of us who are dog moms. We were lucky enough to be joined by Jennifer Tracy who has an amazing podcast. Her backstory—and podcast origin—brings great insight to the world of Jennifer. “The rich, complex, and sometimes messy lives we lead as women lead us to birth the most amazing stories and telling women’s stories is at the heart of everything I do. We also give some fun examples of these stereotypes in action in pop culture, as well as take a Zimbio quiz to decide which TV mom we each resemble!
