TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Indeed, those who choose other God increase their sorrow but those who choose the living God find mercy and blessings. Choosing to serve other gods, whatever they may be, implies submitting oneself to the authorities of such gods who have only come to kill, steal, destroy and increase one's sorrow. On the other hand, those who serve the living God find mercy and blessings as God has come, through Jesus Christ, that we may have the fulness of life and all that makes life a bliss.
