Mon. May 8th, 2023 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: IF YOU LOVE ME YOU'LL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. In today's Gospel, Jesus tells us; "he who has my commandments and keeps them, he it's who loves me" (Jn. 14:21). Our love for God and our Lord Jesus Christ is expressed in our deep desire to remain close to the heart of God and to always have access to the presence of God. In fact, loving God comes with the concrete efforts to always be in His company. This quest necessarily entails keeping His commandments as sin separates us from God. Let's ask that God heals us from sin and its consequences and keep us always close to His heart through the life of virtue and holiness.
