The Aurora African-American Heritage Advisory Board is hosting this event on the evening of their annual heritage dinner. This event honors those Aurorans who’ve made an impact locally. For more information and submissions visit this link: https://www.aurora-il.org/2409/2023-AAHAB-LEADER-OF-THE-YEAR - The Mr. & Miss Black Aurora Pageant will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4th at the Copley Theatre. This event is for all Aurora High School students wishing to participate. Shouts out to the Aurora African-American Heritage Advisory Board for creating and sponsoring this event. New York Street. Tickets are $25 for the 6 pm performance and $16 for the 3 pm performance. Concerts will be held in the school cafeteria which will be transformed into a medieval setting! Dinner will be spinach and roasted red pepper stuffed pork cutlet, or, spinach and ricotta stuffed shells with red sauce. Lawd.
