All right, I've pushed record. I'm sitting here in the former home and garden radio studio. Now the daily grateful studio I might rename it again sometime. Who knows?

And I'm sitting here with all of these lights, all of these microphones I'm talking to you into a pod mic USB Absolutely wonderful microphone by road, which is sitting on an absolutely wonderful road microphone desk stand pumped into a Roadcaster duo and everything is just perfect because now it's time to start the daily grateful Actually, it's Friday evening. I Got off scheduled this podcast I was recording Friday show on Thursday nights and something happened and I got messed up anyway I started I need to get back to that which I will do this weekend I will reset because yesterday on Thursday I was thinking in my mind that it's actually Wednesday and today would be Thursday when I would be recording the podcast where we talk Podcasting, but this is actually Friday.
You know how you can tell it's Friday Because Paul Harvey just told me it was Friday. So here I am Mysteriously off-kilter, but in a good mood I said a bad word in yesterday's podcast like about five times in that weird I haven't checked the statistics yet to see how many people listen and I haven't gotten any comments But since I'm in the mood for making people, you know, you know mood Let me just say today. I went to buy some rocks The rock store was closed I'm buying the rocks because the Tampa Bay Technology Center is having a little get together on Monday where an art teacher is coming by And they're going to paint rocks and I know where this really cool rock store is in Dunedin And I went there today and I found out that they closed at three o'clock on Fridays But they're open tomorrow morning, so I'm going to go tomorrow morning, but on the way back This is so confusing. This is a long story And I don't even know if it's exciting, but I'll try and make it exciting on the way back I'm driving by my former high school Dunedin high school.
Okay, class of 70 Yeah, tells you how old I am and on the right hand side is I'm heading south I'm Pinehurst Avenue where the high school is I see this church and I'm driven by that church, you know Well when I was in high school, I would buy that church I think I even went to a wedding at that church at one time or another and maybe even a funeral I'm not sure but but anyway I'm driving by and they have one of those marquee signs out front that churches have and it says something and I'm paraphrasing here It says something to the effect of celebrating the I gotta get this right celebrating god. This is terrible. This is terrible Celebrating the crucifixion of Christ since 1965 And I'm going huh, and then I'm you know I don't know that just kind of put me in kind of a weird mood Is that a way to promote a church now? I could be wrong and I you know went to high school with kids who went to that church and I I don't want to be disrespectful, but I'm just thinking from a marketing standpoint.
I have a better idea for their sign How about celebrating God's love since 1965 or better yet celebrating the love of Christ since 1965? Isn't that better? I think it's better. Why are we talking about the worst day in a man's life when he was crucified and saying that you're celebrating it?
That just doesn't seem right to me. I don't know I could be wrong Please educate me michael.groce at gmail.com if I'm off base on this. I don't think I don't want to be disrespectful to anyone's church I will never ever try to be disrespectful to anyone's church, but I just put kind of a weird taste in my mouth So then here's the next best part I come home I used to make little three or four minute videos that I would stick on Facebook with my iPhone I'm holding my iPhone right here now. I put it on the desk and you could hear me put it on the desk Anyhow, I come home and I sit in my comfortable chair and I make a video saying essentially the same thing I just said to you and it looked fine and I stuck it on Facebook and when I stuck it on Facebook it came out sideways In other words, I was on my side.
I said what's this so I immediately deleted it and then I held it in a vertical way I'm sorry in a horizontal way and you know And I think they call that landscape and I re-recorded the video trying to be as you know Trying to be as sparkly as I was the first time and now I've done it a third time And so I recorded and then I looked at it looked fine stuck it on Facebook and I'm upside down What the hell's that so I immediately deleted it from Facebook? Well as it turns out one of my listeners from radio Actually saw the first version any kind of agreed with me even though it was up for like less than a minute less than a minute This video is up, but he kind of agreed with me Ah Anyway, that's been my day so far went to get rocks. No rocks Dropped by the church got weirded out came home tried to make a video on it But everything's going to be better tomorrow because let me tell you what I'm doing tomorrow and I'm so grateful for this I'm going back to the rock star rock star rock store first thing in the morning And I'm going to pick up the rocks and then I have to run down to largo for a few minutes And then I'm going to the Tampa Bay Technology Center where all of my problems as far as video and I used to make a lot of videos I never came out upside down or sideways and with this very iPhone. I don't know what the hell is something so anyway There's a 13 year old kid who I've never met but I hear he's very bright He's putting on a class at our Tampa Bay Technology Center, which is just a cool computer club technology club He's putting on a class at one o'clock where he is going to teach us video editing And you know just all things video.
So guess what I'm going to like just as soon as the class starts I'm gonna say I know you've got a lot to say, but I've got a question Let's start with my question. I do that once in a while and I'm gonna ask me What is this? Why is this happening? You know, this is making me mad And hopefully the 13 year old kid who I've been told is absolutely brilliant Will tell me the simple thing that I did wrong just the simple thing that I did wrong The other thing I'm grateful is I had dinner at kaponas dugout some old pizza place That's been around since the early 70s with my chiropractor dr.
Clark Walters We had a wonderful dinner. I had an adult beverage And it was very nice. The pizza was just exceptional. I don't need a lot of pizza because I'm uno zimpic I'm not hungry But this pizza tasted so good.
I ate a little bit more than I probably should have because my stomach feels a little weird right now But anyway, that is it. That's my day. I hope you had a somewhat of a terrific day And when you run into challenges like I did today The rock stars close or star rock stores closed, but church has a weird sign my video sideways and upside down Things get better. I need dr.
Clark At kaponas. I have good pizza It's pretty neat I tasted a different type of bourbon not bourbon wrong than I normally drink and I don't normally drink. I don't drink It was good And tomorrow's gonna be better. Have a terrific day.
