Good morning ladies & gentlemen! We are here with the news and a great interview for you. Our guest today is Mr. David Cannon, candidate for 5th Ward Alderman live in the the studio with us today. Get ready for a great show! Here's the news: - Wednesday, March 22nd there is a great community screening of a powerful documentary discussing early childhood education. The documentary is called No Small Matter and will be shown at the Copley Theatre, located at 8 E. Galena blvd in downtown Aurora, across the street from the Paramount Theatre. There will be a networking event taking place at 3:15 pm, the event screening will take place from 4 to 6:15 pm. The Copley Theatre is a beautiful venue and a choice location to host your next party, gathering or film screening. To register for this event visit the website here: https://www.sparkaurora.org/event/nsm-screening/ - This Thursday, March 23rd there will be a Tax Refund Workshop held at VNA Health Care (400 N. Highland). This will be from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm and will feature staff from the Aurora Financial Empowerment Center & the Neighbor Project. This event is free and open to the public. We look forward to more great community events all 2023. For more information call (630) 256-4552. - Saturday, May 6th from 8 am to 11 am there will be a neighborhood cleanup for residents of Ward 8. This will take place at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, located at 701 S. Eola road. No electronics, no paint cans; the list of acceptable items can be seen on the flier.
