Monday Afternoon Catch Up
from The Parlour with Lori and Lisa · host Lori Nichols and Lisa Gardner
While we've been on a little hiatus from regular recordings, we catch up this past Monday on all the things top of mind for us. Gotta keep those vocals fresh-ish! We start with a "celebratory" post about Trump's March 2024 trial start date. You know we won't be holding our breath, but as we've said before, "the wheels of justice move slowly, but they grind fine!" Carry on, Lady Justice. Carry on! https://www.reuters.com/legal/us-judge-set-trial-date-trump-over-efforts-overturn-2020-election-2023-08-28/ https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2023/08/28/trump-iowa-poll-gop-caucus-maga/70702446007/ And while we pity the situation of Harrison Floyd, sometimes life shows you exactly what happens when you align with the wrong people. https://www.reuters.com/legal/trump-co-defendant-smith-appear-atlanta-court-election-charges-2023-08-25/ Support the show The Parlour with Lori and Lisa comes to you with our takes on current events, politics, human interest stories, all things close to our hearts, and so much MORE!
