On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: The Virgin Islands Department of Justice has announced the modular morgue units have finally been delivered to their installation site in St. Croix. We speak with Attorney General Gordon Rhea, who says work is now underway. The Virgin Islands Police Department says they don’t believe the shooting incident in Frederiksted that left multiple spent cases was a targeted attack on anyone, but the commander of St. Croix’s Criminal Investigation Bureau says this kind of incident is becoming a frequent occurrence. And The University of the Virgin Islands is warning that its free tuition program could be suspended as soon as this summer — unless the government comes through with millions of dollars in new funding.
