Monday Mini: A 'Juiced Up' Golf Tournament. Could it Work, and How? And More on Technology, Rollbacks, and Length in Golf.

from Talk Birdie To Me

Monday today, and that means a Talk Birdie Monday Mini.....before we get into it, Mark decides to give an update on some other thing he's bought on Temu. At this point, Nick and Dan reckon he's on the take and there is some cash for comments going on, that Mark is conveniently cutting Nick and Dan out of. We'll get our lawyer Denis Denuto to look into it, but that's a story for another time.Technology.....it's an ongoing issue and everyone has an opinion. Today we hear a few, and discuss.Firstly, a YouTube comment saying that Nick and Mark are looking at the rollback of gear all wrong, and they explain why. Then a voicemail from Rob on the Sunshine Coast with a suggestion on how to deal with long hitters.. Keith has a very good question about what might need to happen to the other clubs if the Driver is wound back. Then we discuss if a juiced up golf tournament might be fun, in the spirit of the enhanced games in Las Vegas. Could it work? Dunno. But it would be fun to watch.Nick heard a voicemail on Talk Birdie at the weekend from wolfpacker Paul with his solution on the length issue....and had a couple of comments about the number of clubs in the bag, and we finish with a crack at the PGA from Drew who reckons that they've got it wrong. We're live from Titleist and FootJoy HQ thanks to our great partners:Hostplus, Talk Birdie To Me's official retirement partnerBMW, luxury and comfort for the 19th hole;Titleist, the #1 ball in golf;FootJoy, the #1 shoe and glove in golf;Golf Clearance Outlet, they beat everyone's prices;Betr, the fastest and easiest betting app in Australia; The Find My Player app - follow every player on every tour; And Southern Golf Club.
