Monday Minute #39: Courage Feels Small

In this Monday Minute, Brooke reminds us that courage doesn’t always look the way we think it will. We often imagine courage as something loud, confident, and fearless — like brave people never feel scared. But real courage is usually much smaller than that. Sometimes courage looks like taking one step. Saying one honest sentence. Showing up again. Trying when your voice shakes. Doing the next right thing even when fear is still in the room. Joshua 1:9 reminds us, “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Courage isn’t the absence of fear. It’s the presence of God with you. So if your brave looks small today, it still counts. If your courage is quiet, shaky, or unseen, it still matters. God is not waiting for you to feel fearless before He calls you forward.
