Monday Morning Crossroads Pt. 2 - How Was Your Message Today?

Being the church every day of the week. In this series, we’re going to discuss how Crossroads people can be the church on Monday, and not just on Sunday.  Church shoppers sometimes ask, “How good are their messages?” and Churchgoers sometimes ask, “How was the message today?” An even better question to start asking is, “How was my message today?”  Part 1 was about how we can live our life as an act of worship unto God. This lane is about how we can live our lives in such a way that it is a message of good news that points people to Jesus. Our lives are preaching a sermon. The question is, what message is it preaching? Paul praised the church in Colosse for their lives preaching a message of faith in the Lord and love for people. The Good News had changed their life and their lives were changing their world. Colossians 1:-1-6 TLB - 1 From: Paul, chosen by God to be Jesus Christ’s messenger, and from Brother Timothy. 2 To: The faithful Christian brothers—God’s people—in the city of Colosse. May God our Father shower you with blessings and fill you with his great peace. 3 Whenever we pray for you, we always begin by giving thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 for we have heard how much you trust the Lord, and how much you love his people. 5 And you are looking forward to the joys of heaven, and have been ever since the Gospel first was preached to you. 6 The same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world and changing lives everywhere, just as it changed yours that very first day you heard it and understood about God’s great kindness to sinners. 1 Peter 3:15 TLB - 15 Quietly trust yourself to Christ your Lord, and if anybody asks why you believe as you do, be ready to tell him, and do it in a gentle and respectful way. Our lives preach a sermon. Is our message drawing people closer to Jesus?
