Monday Musings with Michele: Gaslighting in the Healthcare System

Have you been gaslit by someone in the medical system? Have you been unfairly labeled by a physician/nurse/provider? Have you your symptoms been dismissed and you were treated like it is all in your head? Has someone used their power to intimidate you so you doubt your experience to the point where you are afraid to say the wrong thing around the person? Gaslighting in the healthcare system is a problem. I share my opinion on the situation, a personal experience that almost caused harm to my newborn baby, and ways to take control of your health.
