Oh no! Someone’s threatening us and our image, so we have to act fast before it’s ruined! What a downright fleshy thing to think, right? I wonder how many of us would be courageous enough to admit that, at one time or another, we’ve thought exactly like these religious leaders. Do you know who was upsetting the apple cart? Yep! Jesus. It mattered so much to them to protect their societal ranking, that they ignored their own rules and laws concerning arrests and trials. Pastor Dan expands on this in his message today.
