Monday of the 6th Week of Easter

Today's readings explore the courage needed to share our faith and the Spirit who empowers us to do so. We hear how Paul brings the Gospel to new places in Macedonia, where a woman named Lydia becomes the first European convert to Christianity. Jesus prepares his disciples for the opposition they will face as witnesses, promising that the Spirit of truth will strengthen their testimony.
