Money And The Bible - More Precious Than Gold

The blood of Jesus Christ is more precious than gold. Christ is the one who became poor that we might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). This is speaking of salvation and the spiritual blessings the Lord bestows upon all those who believe on Christ. Our salvation does not cost us anything, it is free for the taking (receiving John 1:12). But, our salvation cost God everything. The Father gave his only begotten Son. Jesus Christ gave his life on the cross of Calvary. Do you consider the Lord Jesus more precious than gold? Is the Lord more precious than money to you?
