Why I Use The King James Bible - Introduction

The King James Bible is a better translation for several reasons. The Authorized (King James) Version has better Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek texts that underlie it. The translators of the KJV were giants in the Biblical languages and in English. Verbal and formal equivalence translation technique is better than thought-for-thought technique or dynamic equivalence. This translation has better theology. It is doctrinally stronger because of the textual basis and translation technique. The time of translation was of the Lord's choosing, when English was at its best. The AV has a great testimony in Bible movements and missionary movements. Great leaders of the church have used this translation. Bible preservation means God has kept his words for each generation. We can hold God's words in our hands in English in the King James Bible. Verses covered are: Isaiah 66:2; John 14:23; Matthew 4:4.

Should Christians Use BCE And CE

More people are showing a subtle distancing from Jesus Christ. One way is by using BCE, Before Common Era. Common Era also leaves out Jesus Christ. He is the one who is the common Person of that era! The secular and ungodly world does not use BC (Before Christ) and AD (In The Year Of Our Lord) because they do not want to acknowledge Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ divided history in two. Christians need to rethink why they would want to distance themselves from the Lord when writing dates. All, but particularly those Christians writing about history, archaeology, and the Bible, should want to use dates that refer to the greatest Person in world history. Bible verses referenced include: Matthew 10:32-34; Luke 2:34-35; 1 Peter 4:17-18; Jude 1:14-15 and Romans 5:6.

Biblical Or biblical: Which Is Correct

Secular society is getting rid of the Bible, one word at a time. History, theology, proper grammar, and accepted usage uses the word Biblical with a capital "B". That is the God-honoring way. The secular and ungodly world uses biblical with the lower case "b". Artificial Intelligence was accessed to show how the Christ-rejecting world shows less respect for the Holy Bible and elevates the status of the Quran and Hindu writings. In the English-speaking world, Christians have retained this way of honoring the Bible. They saw this usage as Biblical. The god of this world assaults the Holy Bible every way he can. May Bible-believing Christians not follow the world but instead be Biblical in the way they speak and write. The Biblical verse quoted is Hebrews 13:8.

    Palestine: Who Are The Palestinians

Maps in history show Palestine as the land of Israel. How did Israel get renamed Palestine? Who are the Palestinians today? How did the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip suddenly not be considered a part of the Holy Land? Why do Gentiles, and not Jews, control so much of the Promised Land? The word Palestine has become a word that is forcefully used to divide Israel's land. The Holy Bible told us that would be the case. Many we be among those who bless God's Chosen People. Bible passages covered include: Joel 3:1-4; Zechariah 2:12; Exodus 12:25; Genesis 12:3 and Numbers 24:5,9.

Money And The Bible - Last Things

Eschatology is the doctrine about last things, the end times. In this podcast we look at the last things for the church. The church age ends with the Rapture. Then we look at the Tribulation which begins after the Rapture. The Tribulation is designed for the nation Israel and affects indeed the whole world. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ ends the the Tribulation. Christ reigns on this present Earth for 1,000 years. Our Lord then creates a New Heaven and a New Earth. The Lord reigns in righteousness throughout all eternity. Are you ready if the Lord would come for his people today? Bible passages included are: 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Jeremiah 30:7; Matthew 24; Revelation 20:1-7; 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10; Daniel 2Free PDF Book: Money and the Bible: Christian Living - Rugged Faith

Money And The Bible - God's Precious Promises

God has given promises in the Bible that speak of his care for us. God has provided for our greatest need of salvation through Jesus Christ. God has also promised to provide for our daily spiritual and physical needs as. God's Son is the reason for which any of our needs are lovingly provided. In this podcast we cover how the Lord provides for sin, daily spiritual living, food, worry, anxiety and strength. God cares for us and is working all things together for the believer's good. Verses cited include: Philippians 4:19; Matthew 6:25-26; 1 Timothy 6:6; and Ephesians 6:10.

  7. 47

Money And The Bible - Leaving An Inheritance

What will we leave behind for the next generation? Will we leave money, property and our worldly possessions? Have we thought about what kind of a role model we are for the younger people? Do we work hard? Do we take care of our own? Do we give generously? Are we spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ? Love, time with people, relationships and learned skills are also things we can leave for those who follow us. Bible verses considered are: Proverbs 13:22; 1 Corinthians 10:31; 1 Timothy 5:8; 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12; 1 Timothy 5:3; Acts 20:35;; Galatians 2:10; Exodus 22:22 and James 1:27.

  8. 46

Money And The Bible - More Precious Than Gold

The blood of Jesus Christ is more precious than gold. Christ is the one who became poor that we might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). This is speaking of salvation and the spiritual blessings the Lord bestows upon all those who believe on Christ. Our salvation does not cost us anything, it is free for the taking (receiving John 1:12). But, our salvation cost God everything. The Father gave his only begotten Son. Jesus Christ gave his life on the cross of Calvary. Do you consider the Lord Jesus more precious than gold? Is the Lord more precious than money to you? Verses included are: Job 31:24; 1 peter 1:18-19; Isaiah 55:1-3; Revelation 3:17-18; Romans 6:23 and Revelation 1:5."Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:" (1 Peter 1:18-19)

Money And The Bible - Successful End Times Living

The Lord wants each Christian to live successfully in these last days. Our spending reveals our heart. Making the Lord our number one priority will lead to a life of success as the Lord defines it. Recognizing the believer's standing before the Lord brings about a life full of meaningful behavior. Christ himself is the Christian's very life. Believers are identified with our Lord's death, burial and resurrection. These are positional statements that affect our practical daily living. Key verses are Galatians 2:20 and Colossians 3:1-4.

  10. 44

Money And The Bible - Financial Shackles Or Freedom

What does the Bible say about credit and debt? "The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." (Proverbs 22:7) In this podcast we examine key Bible passages that explain some of the advantages of living debt-free. We also consider Jesus Christ who paid our greatest debt, our debt of sin, on the cross of Calvary.

  11. 43

Money And The Bible - Well Done Faithful Servant

God has given us stewardship responsibilities. Money is one of those stewardships. Our spending reveals what are our priorities. Our giving reveals what things are important to us. Christians are to honor the Lord with what we have. "Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful." (I Corinthians 4:2) Faithfulness in our financial stewardship is an important part of life. May we live in such a way that the Lord can give us a "Well done" the day we must give account for how we used the Lord's money in this life.

  12. 42

Money And The Bible - How Much Can You Own

Ownership or stewardship? That is what we must ask and that is just what the Bible answers. God is the Creator. We are caretakers of his resources for a little while. What are we doing with the Lord's resources? How will we do when he judges the value of the things we have done while alive on the Earth? Verses referenced in this podcast include: Genesis chapters 1-2; Exodus 20:11; Job 1:21; I Timothy 6:7; Hebrews 9:27 and 2 Corinthians 8:9 "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich."

Money And The Bible - When Money Fails

Money became worthless in Joseph's time. Will our money also become worthless one day? When money fails people exchange all their wealth and their personal liberties just to get something to eat. Our ultimate trust needs to be in God. The life of Joseph gives an example of what happens to citizens and their governments when money fails. The Lord prepared Joseph in advance to help people get through the years of extreme drought. May we be like Joseph and trust the Lord during meager times and times of plenty.

Money And The Bible - Global Banking And You

The Mark of the Beast will control the global government, global religion, and global money during Antichrist's reign. These three aspects of global government are formulating now. A one-world church is emerging. Digital currencies are being pressed upon the people. The world's governments are fighting for dominance but still work together toward one end. These great strides toward a one-world power could not progress so rapidly without our present fiat currencies. The present technologies are working toward the eventual and ultimate Mark of the Beast. To accept the mark is to seal one's fate. It is urgent that we spread the gospel of Jesus Christ even more as we see Christ's return approaching. Key verses are found in the book of Revelation.

The Day Every Jew Will Be Saved! and Israel Back In The Land Prior To The Tribulation!

Every living Jewish person will be born again at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Though only some trust Christ as Savior today, they all will at that time. We take a look at the nation Israel's two international gatherings to their Promised Land. Israel is God's time piece to show us when He is about to do things. Since around 1948, Israel is back in her land. This time it is just prior to the Tribulation. We see Israel back in her land. We can expect the Tribulation to happen. Yet, prior to the Tribulation is the Rapture of the born again believers (the Body of Christ) from the Earth! Key passages are: Matthew 24, Isaiah 11, Zephaniah 2, Romans 11, Jeremiah 31 and Isaiah 45.

  16. 38

Gog - Chief Prince Or Prince of Russia

Is Gog the Prince of Russia? Some people change the Bible to make it say that. We know Gog is the leader of an invasion of the land of Israel. While Gog could be the same as the leader of Russia, it is not necessary, nor wise, to change the words of the Bible to make it so. Gog does seem to be the leader of Russian-speaking people. Gog and his people could be more concentrated in modern Ukraine than the Russian Federation. Regardless, some prophecy teachers change the normal meaning of Bible words. It seems some perhaps are influenced by the news to make these changes. Chief prince in Ezekiel 38:2 is changed to Prince of Russia. This change does not make sense by the normal rules of language . Here the link to this article.Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, (Ezekiel 38:2)

  17. 37

    Psalm 47 - A Kingdom Psalm

Psalm 47 speaks of Christ coming to reign at the Second Coming. It comes on the heels of Psalm 46, a Tribulation Psalm. This prophetic psalm speaks of the Lord coming to reign over all the Earth. He is the King of Kings! Are we prepared to enter his coming kingdom? Verses are referenced in Psalm 2; Psalm 72:8; and Revelation 19.

  18. 36

    Psalm 46 - A Tribulation Psalm

Unbelieving Jews (and all living unbelievers) must enter into the Tribulation. There will be many saved during the Tribulation which is God's wrath poured out upon the entire Earth. Yet, by God's great grace and mercy, many people will trust the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour during the Tribulation. It seems Psalm 46 was a prophecy written with those Tribulation saints in mind. Great comfort and rest this Psalm can give them during that coming unique time of terrible trial upon our planet. This psalm provides hope for those that will be witnessing the world falling apart all around them. Of course, there is application for us today. We too can look to God as our present help and as our refuge. The Lord says to: "Be still, and know that I am God." The comforting hymn "Be Still, My Soul" has this as its theme. How is your soul today? Other verses are: Revelation 6:14-17; Ezekiel 47:1-10; Revelation 22:1-2; Psalm 2:1-3; Isaiah 2:1-2; Micah 4:1-3 and Ezekiel 39:6-9.

  19. 35

    The Believer's Everyday Sanctification

Sanctification is both positional and practical. Christ is the believer's positional sanctification (1 Corinthians 1:30). Practical sanctification is a process. Christians believe the salvation Bible passages. Christians also ought to believe the sanctification Bible passage. This is a call to get back to the Bible regarding our daily walk with the Lord. Some of the related verses can be found here. "Are you walking daily by the Savior's side?"

Is Jesus Christ Really Living Right Now

ChatGPT told me that Jesus Christ is alive and that his body is right now in Heaven. This shows that AI can read the Bible and interpret the Bible in its normal sense when asked the right questions. Listen to 11 reasons why we can be sure Jesus Christ is alive right now. Explore New Testament verses that give abundant testimony that the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is a reality. We ought to believe that the Bible is true. Christ's tomb is empty. Key To Christian Living

The Lord has given every believer in Christ the means to live a victorious Christian life. There will not be sinless perfection in this life. And still, the Christian can have regular victory over the sin nature. The sin nature is still present but it's power has been put out of commission. Our attachment to it has been disengaged. Paul tells us in Romans chapter six to reckon ourselves to be dead indeed to sin. The Bible does not say we are to "die to self" or to "crucify self". Romans tells us to count to be true something that God already has done! Are you willing to believe what God has said is true? Words To The Resurrection Life Song

    Who Are The Nephilim

The Bible says there were giants on the earth in those days. Are those giants made from fallen angels procreating with women? If it sounds mythical and far-fetched, it is. Giants means ... giants. The bizarre angel-human offspring tale most likely springs from the apocryphal Book of Enoch. We are living in the last days of the Church age. In order to finish well, we need to trust that the Bible is true. It is a dangerous mistake to use a gnostic document and reinterpret the natural meaning of Scripture. Learn why the Nephilim are giant men and not demons. Also, explore who the Sons of God are in Genesis six. Key Bible verses are Genesis 6:2; Genesis 6:4; Numbers 13:32-33; Job 1:6; Matthew 22:30

Iran, Israel, The US, And The Queen Of Persia

The United States and Israel invaded Iran on February 28, 2026. The modern Islamic Republic of Iran has made it virtually impossible to have peace in the Middle East. Iran is Persia. The Bible names Persia several times. Persia has a prominent position in Bible prophecy. Some prophecies concerning Persia and its leader have already been fulfilled. Yet, there is still an outstanding prophecy directly involving Persia and Israel. In this podcast we consider Persia in prophecy and how it relates to modern day Iran. Key verses are: 2 Chronicles 36:20-23; Daniel 8:20; Ezra 1:1-3; Esther 1:1-3; and Ezekiel 38:1-12

Money And The Bible - Oil And Energy

Oil plays a key role in the end times. A soon-developing global government really can't transpire without it. We are entering a time where it is getting more costly to extract oil from the ground. Oil exploration and production are both getting more expensive. Each nation is trying to get control of this diminishing precious resource. Learn how oil plays a role in moving our planet toward a one-world ruler. We should use our resources now, as good stewards, to work for Christ while we can. "So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our heart unto wisdom." Psalm 90:2

  25. 29

Money And The Bible - Bailouts Bring Bondage

Why is financial debt such a powerful instrument in the end times? Solomon says: "The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrow is servant to the lender." Proverbs 22:7 This lender and servant relationship is a key factor that will help allow the Antichrist to rule over the financial markets of the world. World bankers could gain control over everyone just by keeping them in debt. The Bible warns where this kind of debt could ultimately lead. It is wonderful thing that Jesus Christ paid our spiritual debt upon the cross! 2 Corinthians 8:9

  26. 28

Money And The Bible - The Fed

The Federal Reserve is helping to set up the world stage for a global government. The Federal Reserve Note is contrary to what the US Constitutions says to have for money. Knowing the difference between Biblical money or Constitutional money as compared to what the central bank is doing helps the Christian. Christians who are aware can make appropriate decisions to navigate during our everchanging cultural times. Bible-believers can live in these end times not only knowing the end game, but how the world can get there from here. Key verses are: Proverbs 16:11-12; Proverbs 20:10; Romans 3:22-24

  27. 27

Money And The Bible - The Money Changers

The Lord turned over tables and chased out the moneychangers from the temple! This event recorded in Scripture demonstrates the value the Lord places on a relationship with himself. The temple was to be a house of prayer. They had turned it into a place for profit. We too have a choice. Is prayer to our wonderful Lord more important than making money? Moneychangers in the Bible has been likened to the central banks of today. Both take things that do not belong to them. Both put making a profit as more valuable than a relationship with the Lord. Matthew 21:12-13; John 2:16; 1 Timothy 6:10; Luke 16:13

  28. 26

Money And The Bible - What Is Money

Does the average person know what money is? The Bible tells us what God calls money. We have rejected God's standard for money when we went to the fiat money system. Wealth, fairness and privacy are retained when using Biblical money. Poverty, control and oppression come when Biblical money is no longer accepted. God has standards and there are severe consequences that follow rejecting his words. Leaving Biblical money allows digital currency and a cashless society to become reality. Verses referenced include: Genesis 23:13-16; Genesis 13:2, 44:8; Matthew 10;9; Mark 6:8.

Money And The Bible - Better Than Gold

The Bible is compared to gold. Gold is precious and valuable. That is what the Bible is, precious and valuable. In fact, the Bible is better than gold. We take a brief look at the book: Money and the Bible: Christian Living - Rugged Faith. How we make money and how we spend it reveals what is most important to us. In this podcast, we cover why money is an important part of living in the end times. Here is a link on Amazon to get the book if you wish. Here is a link to a free PDF of the book. Feel free to share either link. Some verses discussed are: Psalm 119:127; Psalm 119:72; Proverbs 3:13-14; Proverbs 22:1 & 25:11; Psalm 19:7-10

  30. 24

Grace - Getting Something That We Don't Deserve

Dr. M.R. DeHaan reportedly said grace was "getting something that we don't deserve" as contrasted to God's mercy which is "not getting something that we do deserve." God so loved the world yet the world is not saved by his love. If anyone is saved it is by God's grace. Paul told the Romans that salvation is free: "being justified freely by his grace." (Romans 3:25) Sinners are saved by grace. Christians live by grace. Come listen as we explore several Bible verses that all speak of God's wonderful grace. We also consider the gracious words of the hymn: "Grace Greater Than Our Sin". Verses included are: Genesis 6:8; Proverbs 3:34; John 1:16-17; Romans 5:1-2; 2 Corinthians 12:9; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 2:11; Hebrews 4:15-16; 2 Peter 3:18; Revelation 22:20-21

    Genesis Two Foundation Of Society

Back to the Bible, back to Genesis, back to the Words of God! This is what we need to do so that we can live like we should in this evil day. We take a look at what the Lord says about man, woman and the institution of marriage. Being a good husband, father, wife or mother stems from how we understand these foundational verses. We consider the Lord's natural chapters (Hebrew - toldoth) in this first book. What is the importance that we have a body, spirit and soul? And, where is the Garden of Eden? Verses to compare are: Hebrews 4:10-11; I Thessalonians 5:23 and Hebrews 4:12

  32. 22

Have You Any Room For Jesus

Jesus Christ should be the Christian's first love. The Lord should be first in our lives. Sometimes believers are good at putting Jesus a close second or third. But, Christ requires our full heart's devotion. Jesus Christ ought to be our First Love. The Church of Ephesus had it all: the Bible (one letter written especially for them), great Bible teachers (Paul himself and Timothy); leadership, a busy church and a good doctrinal statement. With all their advantages, they still moved from the Biblical position of putting Christ first in the church. We can get back into close fellowship with the Lord if we desire.

I Will Bless Them That Bless Thee

Is America in danger of losing her blessing from the Lord? God promised a blessing to those who bless the children of Abraham. There is a blessing for those who bless Israel and the Jewish people. In like manner, there is a cursing for those who curse the Jews and who attempt to divide the Promised Land. The US has moved her embassy to Jerusalem recognizing the ancient and historic capital of the Jewish people. However, the United States is also pressuring Israel to divided her land with the Abraham Accords. Will this end up as a cursing for the USA? Heads of state are beginning to use the terms peace and safety. "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee." (Psalm 122:6) Key prophetic verses are: Genesis 12:3; Genesis 32:28; Joel 3:1-2; Zechariah 12:1-3; Zechariah 14:1-3; 1 Kings 8:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3

  34. 20

    Departure From The Faith

Christians, churches, and Christian institutions are leaving basic doctrines. This time of departing from the faith is a characteristic of our time. As God is winding down the church age apostasy is increasing. Inspiration and preservation of the Bible, the deity of Christ, the substitutionary atonement of Christ and the second coming of Christ are Bible doctrines that are being denied, downplayed or ignored. We know the Rapture is getting closer because people are leaving basic Bible doctrines. 2 Peter 2:1; 1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Peter 3:3-4

  35. 19

    The Christian's Drift Toward Worldliness

All Christians have a natural drift to become worldly. Christians have a tendency to want to partake of the sinful things of this world. God wants us to live a godly life in this present evil world. If we do nothing we are more likely to live in our old ways. Ours is an ungodly culture with many enticing things to lure us away from the Lord. Applying God's very words to our lives will keep us close to him and allow us to lovingly live for him in a Christ-rejecting climate. Galatians 1:4; 2 Timothy 4:10; 1 John 2:15-16; Titus 2:12 2 Peter 1:7-9

    Book Of Genesis Introduction

Important introductory comments on the book of Genesis are in this podcast. Why God in the first verse is translated singular even though it is in a plural form in the Hebrew. Why heaven in the first verse is correctly translated singular even though it is in a Hebrew dual (and not plural) form. Listen to comments on the Gap Theory and why it does not fit between the first two verses. Why the Lord's reference to male and female is relevant in our time. Genesis 1:1-2; Matthew 19:4; Mark 10:6 Reference is made to William Tyndale, Martin Luther, the Geneva Bible and the RVG Spanish Bible.

A Light That Shines In A Dark Place

Christians are like a lighthouse. We are to shine for Jesus Christ in a dark world. Believers are to show in their lives that they belong to the Lord. We are to live like Christ would have us to live. We are to hold forth the word of life, that is the Bible. Listen to a lighthouse story that demonstrates a welcomed light shining in the dark. 2 Peter 1:19; Philippians 2:15-16

    Back To The Bible

We all need to get back to the Bible in some way. Getting back to the Bible means we have moved away from the Bible. We get saved by trusting in the words of the Bible, namely by trusting in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Now that we are saved, we live by faith in the Bible. The Bible has God's words of instruction on how to live. The words of the Bible has power for living. Neglecting the Bible only leads to being more comfortable in a godless world. 40. 14

    For Whom Did Christ Die

The Bible says Christ died for the sins of the whole world. It is a mistake to think that Jesus Christ did not die on the cross for everyone. It is an error to believe that Christ limited his death to only a particular group of people. God is not willing that that any should perish but that all should repent and come to Christ for salvation (2 Peter 3:9). Listen as we review several Bible verses that demonstrate that Christ died for all. Yes, Jesus Christ even died for me and for you. Isaiah 53:6; I Timothy 2:6; John 1:29; 1 John 2:2; 1 Timothy 4:10; Galatians 2:20

  41. 13

    In Christ

All Christians are "In Christ." What does it mean to be in Christ? We take a look at eight Bible verses that us the phrase: "in Christ", "in Christ Jesus", "in him", or "in the beloved". This doctrine is known as positional truth or identification truth. That is, the believer in Christ has his position in Christ. The believer is identified with Christ Jesus. Some verses considered are: Romans 8:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Ephesians 1:3.

  42. 12

    Preach The Gospel

God tells us to tell the Good News of Jesus Christ to everyone. Yet, what is that good news? Paul defines the gospel for us. The gospel of Jesus Christ is that Christ died for our sins, Christ was buried and Christ rose from the grave. Christ was then seen alive. This is the gospel. have we received the gospel? Are we telling anyone about it? There is a great urgency to tell others this Good News of Jesus Christ in these end times. Key Bible passages covered are Mark 16:15 and 1 Corinthians 15:1-5.

  43. 11

    How To Interpret The Bible

Bible interpretation is a must for every Christian. Yet, what does it mean to interpret the Bible? What does the Bible say? What do the words mean? We look at several verses that speak of interpretation. We cover what interpretation means and why we must hold to basic Bible interpretation in these end times. We need to follow the rules of language when doing our Bible study. "When the plain sense makes sense, seek no other sense lest it result in nonsense!" 2 Peter 1:20; Proverbs 1:6; John 1:42

  44. 10

The Early Church Was Not Charismatic

Charismatic expressions of tongues were unorthodox in the early church. The Bible says tongues were known languages. Gibberish and emotional outbursts were considered heresy by those in the early church. Warnings from the early church history are considered: Irenaus, Eusebius, Chrysotom, Augustine. Acts 2 and our mother tongue is discussed.

    Dispensations: Law, Grace, Kingdom

What does the Bible say to us today? The Dispensations can help us understand. There are three big dispensations revealed in the Bible. The dispensation of the Law, the dispensation of Grace, and the dispensation of the coming Kingdom. Normal, natural interpretation shows these different well-defined time periods. Salvation is always by faith alone in every dispensation. There are different rules the Lord gives for those living on the Earth during different time periods. Ephesians 1:10; Ephesians 3:1-6; Colossians 1:24-26
