One day a boy asked his father, “Dad, does money grow on trees?” The father smiled and said, “No, dad, money does not grow on trees. Money comes from people’s hard work, honesty and skill.” Then the father showed him a small tree and said, “Just as this tree takes time, care and hard work to grow, so too you have to work hard to earn money.” The boy then understood that money does not come easily. To be successful in life, there is no alternative to perseverance, patience and hard work. From that day on, he learned to value time and work hard.
