It could mean immense wealth or assets – the house you live in, the gifts you were given, the skills you might have or knowledge or wisdom. It also stands for the security you have around you from an early life and how comfortable you were in that sense. The next place to look is opposite the second house, in the eighth house which is ruled by Scorpio. This is about earning money, your salary. It’s also what you might inherit and the money you put in banks, a notional fund (ISA, savings, mortgage, etc). The money here is strategic, it's conceptual, it’s money that is working hard itself without you having to touch it. The eighth house is ruled by Pluto which is very much about evolve or die, it will force the money to change hands or move rather than sit and rot. There will be hidden complications here, like interest rates going up without you realising or paying a contract on a phone you don’t have. Money in your chart will also come up in the tenth house, ruled by Capricorn. This is where you have or might have achievements or success and is where your goals are and where you’re heading to achieve those goals. Look at the beginning of the tenth house for the MC point to see where your career and you are heading in life, it signifies the highest point you might go. It’s a lifelong path as well as a karmic one and it’s quite tough, you have to work hard to make it happen but once you get there you’ll be the master. You’ll also find money in your chart with Jupiter, which is about abundance and is not directly relatable to the charts and signs. This is where you go into excess too quickly and is why Jupiter is associated with addictions and falling into unhealthy habits.
