Houston Money Week (HMW) is a community-wide financial education initiative that empowers families and individuals to be successful in making financial choices. HMW provides resources to help consumers better manage their personal finances through the collaboration and coordinated effort of organizations across Houston and surrounding counties. HMW's programming offers free financial education events that cover all facets of personal finance while raising awareness of community resources. HMW partners, businesses, financial institutions, schools, libraries, non-profits, government agencies and media outlets come together each year in April to emphasize the importance of financial education, and inform consumers where they can get assistance. Bennette Davis is a long-time management professional in various industries. She is currently the president of the Houston Metropolitan Chapter of Continental Societies, Inc.
