Houston Money Week (HMW) is a community-wide financial education initiative that empowers families and individuals to be successful in making financial choices. The Women's Resource helps women and girls make choices toward becoming independent, productive and financially stable. In its programs, women acquire the essential financial knowledge, skills and confidence they need to make sound decisions and improve their lives - for themselves and for generations to come. Christine has led The Women's Resource since 2014. She is a passionate advocate for social equality and has devoted her career to helping the underserved in her community. Christine began her career with the YMCA, eventually working her way up to an Executive Director. There she had the unique opportunity to work on a national pilot project with the Institute of Healthcare Improvement and Stanford University challenging attitudes and beliefs around health and wellness in underserved communities. Drucilla has spent her career as a zealous advocate for underserved communities. Prior to joining the team at The Women's Resource, Drucilla was an attorney specializing in consumer advocacy, which included extensive Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collection Practice Act litigation. As a result, she has an in-depth understanding of credit reporting, credit reporting agencies, and debt collection.
