One of the things we firmly believe is that both partners in a relationship should have a solid understanding of how they themselves view money, how their spouse views money, and ultimately that they both have working knowledge of the money that comes into and goes out of the household.   So clearly, this is meant for longer term relationships and marriages, not couples just starting out or couples who are not to the point of shared finances, homes, kids, and all the other "stuff."
