What is your relationship with money like? Did you grow up never having enough of it, and you now live in fear of making ends meet? Do you have enough, but can’t seem to stop yourself from spending it all? Do you have more than enough, but it never seems like enough — maybe you’re always eager to afford a bigger house, and more things to fill it? Talking money can be uncomfortable, because it can remind us of our deepest fears about security, our past mistakes, and our current unhealthy habits. But if we shift our perspective, we can start seeing our finances as a huge opportunity to be love others and love God! We can embody God’s spirit of generosity, and not only impact those around us, but be transformed into more loving, generous, and thoughtful people.
