Monica Cook
from On Creativity with Paula Wallace Hosted by George Lovett, Monica Cook, Paula Wallace
The Gift Of Art... SCAD alumna Monica Cook serves as an inspiration to fine artists studying across SCAD disciplines. Her consummate work ethic, creative integrity, and endless exploration are living proof of the fine artist's relevancy in the 21st century. Examples of her work grace the walls of the SCAD permanent collection, galleries, and private collections across the globe. Cook's scientific eye and love for experimentation results in truly singular and visceral creations. SCAD is proud to represent her work, and the work of hundreds of alumni, faculty, staff, and current students, through SCAD Art Sales and ShopSCAD. Both galleries allow private collectors the rewarding opportunity to support some of the most inventive artists creating today. In today's conversation, Paula Wallace reunites with Cook to observe the complexity of her latest work and celebrate all the ways Cook defines "SCAD hustle."
