Monica Lim is a Melbourne-based pianist, composer, sound designer, entrepreneur and board director. Born in Malaysia and then migrating to Australia in her teens, Monica Lim has produced work for theatre, contemporary dance, installations and film, as well as solo and ensemble instrumental pieces. Her work has been presented at AsiaTOPA, Melbourne Fringe and Arts Centre Melbourne as well as international symposiums such as the International symposium of Electronic art and The International Conference on New Interfaces for Musical Expression. Monica is currently undertaking postgraduate research at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music, University of Melbourne in gesture-led composition and new technologies.
