🐵 Monkey Man only in Theaters

This week on episode #211 of New Release … action junkies Jamie and Drew go to the movies to see Dev Patel’s directorial debut. Monkey Man is a classic revenge tale that goes hard and leaves you feeling bloodied and battered in the best possible ways. We discuss how this compares to other modern action flicks—or Wicks—and why simplicity is a virtue. Plus, anytime we have the host of Movie Shots Club in our midst, we have to run through drinking rules for this fine feature. So pour yourself a glass of 151 … and LIGHT THAT SHIT ON FIRE … cause we’re taking SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS all podcast long. This club is members only, until you search ‘New Release’ on Spotify or Apple and hit subscribe. Next week, we have another festive episode because it just might be somebody’s birthday 🎂 Get full access to New Release at newrelease.substack.com/subscribe
