With the most recent global Monkeypox outbreak in May of this year, there’s been a lot of confusion among patients and providers about treatment options and vaccination.With about 7,000 cases in the United States as of this recording, luckily the treatment options are starting to become more available. As I mentioned in the first episode of this series, thus far the treatments and vaccines have been only available through the Strategic National Stockpile, a government supply created to prepare for outbreaks.
