Monoculture Is the Future
from Altars and Ashes Podcast · host Austin W Tucker, Robbie Stringer, and B.D. Fleming
Every civilization has a culture. The question is whether that culture will be formed intentionally or inherited accidentally. A Christian community cannot be built simply by putting Christians in the same neighborhood. Strong communities require more than proximity—and even more than shared doctrine. They require shared loves, habits, expectations, traditions, and a common vision for what life under the lordship of Christ should look like. In this episode, we discuss why Christian culture is theology becoming habit, why culture is often caught more than it is taught, and why communities without shared customs eventually replace them with policies, committees, and enforcement. We also address what we mean—and do not mean—by monoculture. This is not an argument for racial or ethnic uniformity. It is an argument for unity of direction: Christians from different backgrounds deliberately ordering their households and communities around a shared Christian way of life. If we want strongholds that endure beyond one generation, we must do more than confess the truth. We must build lives, households, churches, schools, traditions, and communities that make that truth visible. Shared space is not shared civilization. What is not intentionally transmitted is eventually lost. Get full access to Dust & Glory Media at dustandglorymedia.substack.com/subscribe
