AMC's new series set in 1963, starring Clive Owen as the retired Sam Spade from The Maltese Falcon dropped its pilot January 14th. Under the direction of the creators of "The Queen's Gambit" and "Oz," Spade has relocated across the sea to his new home in France to live out his remaining years.
