Monster: Aileen Wuornos

Aileen Wuornos was an American serial killer who claimed seven victims in less than a year. She had a troubled childhood, experiencing abuse, abandonment, and engaging in sex work at a young age. Wuornos had a criminal history before her murder spree, including robbery and assault. She claimed that her victims had either raped or attempted to rape her, but this defense was not accepted in court.
