Undeterred, a wizard stepped forward, wielding spells, but even his magic couldn't withstand the creature's eyes.Alone and terrified, the man fled, leading the Basilisk to a riverbank. Desperation gripped him as he plunged into the water, praying the creature would vanish. Yet, a twist of fate awaited.As the Basilisk saw its reflection, it screeched, wriggled, and succumbed to its own demise.
