Monsters In My Closet - Sloth
from Michael J. Chanley Teachings Hosted by Michael J Chanley
Generally speaking, we think of sloth as laziness. We might even pat ourselves on the back at the notion that, thanks to our great work ethic, we have overcome the temptation of slothfulness. However, as we learn from the Bible, we see sloth is a sin with roots all the way back in the original fall of man. It is more than just what we do with our hands, it has to do with a temptation to spiritual apathy and inaction. Sloth can even lead us to tear apart one another with unempathetic judgementalism. Grab your Bible and join us as we throw open the closet and conquer this monster together. About This Series Monsters In My Closet is an original sermon series recorded live at Tunnel Hill Christian Church in Georgetown, Indiana. This series explores the seven deadly sins. Each week, we will help you identify, escape, and conquer each "monster" represented by these common sins. Importantly, we'll challenge you to help others overcome the same challenges you may have fallen to in your past.
