Montana Warren tops defense with most to gain at Arizona State Sun Devils football spring ball

After looking at the offensive players with the most to gain for Arizona State Sun Devils football in the upcoming spring practices, we flip the script to the defensive side of the ball. Under defensive coordinator Brian Ward, the Sun Devils defense was a pleasant surprise in 2023 with their competitiveness and the overall edge they brought to the table. Several crucial players departed the program for one reason or another, however, and the Sun Devils are forced to find replacements for them. The first massive opportunity for these guys is to have strong spring ball sessions. Returning starters like Tate Romney can secure their existing starting spots, but depth guys Gharin Stansbury finally have a shot to break out.
