We commenced on a fascinating discussion about their new 2024 CD Self-Titled Album, how their paths intersected, their pasts and so much more. They have been making music with a parade of celebrated band-mates across the jazz, indie rock, and experimental music scenes. Now, working as a duo for the first time, the long-sought-after instrumentalists decided to go in on a project by improvising freely as they recorded days worth of their explorations. Tommy is from St. Louis and has quite a history in Kansas City, while Simon has played with stellar musicians like Patrick Watson. Together, they find the jazz magic. Tune in.
