#5 Between Mothers In conversation with Ukrainian artist Olena Pronkina, as part of a new series of Kitchen Conversations devoted to mothers and motherhood in the arts. For the past couple of years, Olena’s work has focused on experiences of transition, instability, and the search for one’s place within new environments and conditions. Becoming a mother brought a pause to her usual artistic practice for almost two years. During that time, Olena turned to analog photography, which she could practice during walks while her child was sleeping.
