Moon earned her undergraduate degrees in mathematics and women’s students from Harvard University and her masters and PhD in mathematics from the University of Chicago. She was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2018 and she has been a Fellow of the American Matheamtical Society since 2017.
