Moondance es el tercer álbum de estudio del cantautor norirlandés Van Morrison. Fue publicado el 27 de enero de 1970 por Warner Bros. Records. Tras el fracaso comercial de su primer álbum de Warner Bros., (ASTRAL GUIS) Astral Weeks (1968), Morrison se trasladó al norte del estado de Nueva York con su esposa y comenzó a escribir canciones para Moondance. Allí conoció a los músicos que grabarían el álbum con él en los estudios A & R de Nueva York en agosto y septiembre de 1969.
