Moradores del barrio travesía aprovecharon un recorrido que hacia el alcalde de azogues por la entrada a la fábrica Guapán, para reclamar el excesivo polvo que provoca la cementera así como buscar una solución al paso de vehículos que transportan cemento hacia la ciudad y fuera de la misma, inconvenientes que según Marco Cordero habitante del barrio ocasiona graves enfermedades por estos inconvenientes.
