This third sermon, Moral Law, further explains the purpose of the Ten Commandments. God gave us his moral law in the ten commandments, teaching his nature and his just (righteous) requirements. The Founding Fathers of the United States understood that moral law based on the Ten Commandments was essential to the foundation and establishment of a just government and society. But this foundational insight has become clouded, and the nation has become corrupt. In the church, we understand that God, who is loving, is also just and has moral requirements. For this reason, we teach God's moral law in the fulfillment of Jesus Christ.
