Moral "skill" or Moral "will"? A sermon on Colossians 3:12-15 with Charlie Grimes

Colossians 3:12-17 Hello Encouragers!  Thanks for joining me for episode 32 of the Encouragers United Podcast. I'm dipping into the archives here this week to share with you a message I presented to Dayspring Christian Fellowship, the church I am now employed at, way back in the summer of 2013.  I share my thoughts on Colossians 3:12-17.  It's one of my favorites, and I hope it inspires you with truth that there is a difference between trying hard to do what's right to live a holy life, and actually "being" a holy, redeemed person, and then feeling a "desire" to do what's right.  I introduce the concepts of Moral skill-- vs. Moral Will-- knowing how to do right is only one part of the equation-- Wanting to do right is a whole other ball-game!
