Advocate, Educate, InspireEpisode 62: MORE Act Passes The House & High Life Farms ReviewNew Episode of MiCannaCast, Cannadave & Groovee discuss the recent news that the MORE Act passed the House of Representatives last week. This is a huge step forward for cannabis and decriminalization here in the United States. The second topic we talk about is the cannabis brand here in Michigan called High Life Farms. Groovee picked up some flowers up north during the holiday weekend and got some HIgh Life Farms MAC 69.MORE ActThe MORE Act ( Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act) was supposed to get voted on back in September or early October but it was pushed back due legislation trying to come up with a COVID-19 Relief Bill.  We discussed the MORE Act on one of our previous episodes here. Cannadave was a little heated due to the postponed meeting, because he thought they wouldn't be voting on this anytime soon.The MORE Act was passed in the House 12/4/2020 and it was definitely a bipartisan issue because most of the Democrats voted yes while the Republicans voted No.  It's now a Senate Issue to take up after passing the House. Many people don't think it will pass the Senate because it's Rebulican held and Mitch McConnel won't let it pass will just sit on the bill and not bring it up to a vote.We're just happy to see it pass the house even if it dies in the Senate because we think times are changing. THis is a great first step to getting Cannabis Legalized or Decriminalized people shouldn't be going to jail for this plant at all. Tell us in the comments.High Life FarmsThe Second Topic we get into is High Life Farms, the cannabis brand out in Michigan.  We were able to try the MAC 69 which is Miracle Alien Cookie we believe bred by capulator. Groovee picked up this strain on his trip up north at Humble Bee Processings retail shop. We actually tried some of Humble Bee's Concentrates before. The overall smoke on the high life farms was pretty good. It wasn't our favorite MAC strain but it was a good smoke and experience.
