More and more money is being spent on agencies that supply nurses. Is it money wasted?

from London Live with Mike Stubbs · host CFPL / Curiouscast

A report has come out that looks into the increase in spending for agencies that supply nurses in provinces and territories in Canada. From just over $200-million per year in 2020-21 to a projected almost $1.5 billion in 2023-24 there are questions as to why the rapid rising costs are happening and what should be done about those costs. Mike Stubbs spoke with Linda Silas, the president of the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions and a co-author of the report.
