Jeff Sherman was joined on the phone by Ben & Brittany Essig, the newest owners of Knight’s Gourmet Popcorn & Candies on Milwaukee’s south side as well as Rescued Roasters. Jeff asked them how they got their start with coffee and acquiring their popcorn business. He also asked them about the uniqueness of their popcorn. -Jeff then asked Ben and Brittany about how their business had been affected by the road construction in front of their store on Forest Home Avenue and the future of expansion of their business. Jeff Sherman was joined in-studio by Milwaukee Business Journal Senior Reporter Rich Kirchen and they began by talking about a Harley-Davidson executive that went to the U.S. House of Representatives to complain about tariffs on Europe and the latest on data centers in Wisconsin and how We Energies are affecting the process. -Jeff asked Rich next about the future of a microbrewery in Milwaukee's Menomonee Valley and about Koss Corporation’s various infringement lawsuits. -Enerpac Tool Group had announced to move their headquarters to downtown Milwaukee. Speaking of downtown, the Wisconsin Tower could be getting a billboard.
